As a company evolves and grows, so does its
logo. If you take a look at the logo
design of companies that have been in the market for quite some time you
will notice that their logos have all undergone changes, however minimal, over
the years. Major reasons for these changes have been the goals of the company
and also the technological innovations. Other reasons have been makeover of the
brand and also to give a fresh outlook to the same. Logos have come a long way
in the years gone by. Having said this, there have been cases wherein the logos
have remained largely unaltered since its inception. Such cases however, have
been few and far between.
Change has been constant in the case of logos.
People have realized that they need to publicize their brands and products in
order to survive in the highly competitive market and naturally logos, being
the face of the product, need to be constantly worked upon and improved. Logos
initially started out as mere identifiers of a brand and have now evolved into
a strong marketing tool. People have realized the power of a logo and are
trying to make them as unique and at the same time as striking as possible.
